Cottage of Hope is taking bold steps to change the narrative around incarceration. While legal aid is a key pillar of our work, so too is empowerment through training.
This quarter, we began working toward a partnership with a like-minded NGO to launch vocational training in event decoration and catering across Female, Medium, and Maximum Custodial Centers in Lagos. These skills aren’t just practical — they’re transformational. They build confidence, inspire creativity, and plant seeds of self-reliance.

We remain committed to embedding discipleship and emotional support in every phase of training, ensuring that spiritual growth goes hand in hand with skill acquisition.
Looking ahead, we aim to scale our efforts, creating sustainable pathways for inmates to rediscover their purpose and reintegrate into society with dignity. Your continued support — whether through donations, networking, or volunteerism — can make these programs a reality.
Let’s build futures together, one skill at a time.
